When it comes to the cashing up at the end of the night, you may find a shortage, It may be theft or it may be a bunch of mistakes. Train your bartenders to use this sheet everytime they make a mistake on the cash register.

To avoid abuse and possible theft, only the manager should be able to void mistaken entries at the end of a shift.

At the end of the shift/day/week your manager can see what needs to be voided and therefore the cash register should balance. If filled in correctly, you should also be able to see any patterns develop in terms of continuous mistakes by certain members of staff who may require additional training.
