Minneapolis Bartender Goes for Guinness Record

Under the scrutiny of an official Guinness Book of World Records Adjudicator, Shout House Dueling Pianos bartender Chris Raph is poised to officially overtake the current world record for most cocktails prepared in 60 minutes at the Minneapolis bar. Based on time trials, Raph is expected to pour a minimum of 500 cocktails, shattering the current world record of 389 set by Matthais Knorr of Munich, Germany. 

The Shout House will charge an admission price of $4 per person, which will be donated directly to the local charity Finnegans Community Fund.
 
WHEN: Thursday, April 16, 2009
7:00 p.m.:       Doors open

The Shout House Dueling Pianos has been twice voted Minneapolis Best Downtown Bar by the readers of The Minnesota Daily. The bar's non-stop, consistently entertaining show has made this venue a favorite destination for locals and out-of-town visitors. Chris Raph has been with The Shout House for almost 3 years.
 
Finnegans Community Fund was created out of the belief that there are loads of fun and creative ways to make a difference in a community. Finnegans believes that it takes a community to create and maintain healthy communities and healthy communities don't leave folks behind.  The Finnegans Community fund has donated over $125,000 to help fund programs assisting those in poverty.
